The Public Prosecution Department signs a memorandum of understanding with the Emirates Association for the Deaf, in order to enhance the efforts of the two sides in facilitating access to justice and judicial services to all members of society, and to provide direct support to people of determination and facilitate their access to services by providing sign language translation.
In view of the current circumstances and in compliance with the preventive measures, the memorandum was signed through visual communication channels with the representation of Ms. Somaya Al Mutawa - Director of the Support Services Department of the Public Prosecution Department, while His Excellency Abdullah Al Kamali - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors represented the Emirates Deaf Association, in the presence of His Excellency Musabah Al Neyadi, Chairman of the Board Association management.
Through this cooperation, the Public Prosecution Department aims to develop its services for the deaf, as well as to enable the Public Prosecution team to communicate with them efficiently that guarantees their rights and security.
