The Public Prosecution in Ras Al Khaimah organized a discussion session entitled "Law in a Changing World" on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at the headquarters of the Emirates Society for Social Development, coinciding with the celebration of the International Law Day. The session was attended by a large number of department directors, officials and those interested in legal affairs, where the challenges and changes facing the law in light of rapid global developments were discussed. The importance of updating legislation and methods of applying the law to ensure the achievement of justice in light of these changes was also addressed. This session comes within the framework of the Public Prosecution's keenness to enhance legal awareness and contribute to spreading the culture of respect for the law, in addition to exchanging experiences and ideas between specialists in the legal field. The session addressed many important topics about the challenges facing the law in light of rapid global changes, and how to adapt to these changes to ensure justice and protect rights. The role of the law in enhancing social and economic security was also discussed, as well as the need to update laws in line with technical and economic developments. At the end of the session, the importance of concerted efforts between legal and social bodies to enhance legal culture in society, and to work to find innovative legal solutions that meet the requirements of the era was emphasized
